Hello Stephen

This really is an engrossing piece of free verse which I am not always a fan of, even though I try my hand at it sometimes. Too often, the line between prose and poetry gets blurred with it in my opinion, but there is a very real difference between free verse and prose when done properly.
I always think of a poem needing to display figurative language, be it metaphors, onomatopoeia, personification, etc or poetic tools like alliteration, meter, rhyme etc. Some free verse doesn't seem to incorporate any of these and that confuses me sometimes.

Anyway, this is excellent stuff, full of the things I mentioned above and is a fine write indeed!
