    Cindy,
I am so glad you decided to post this, I thought my sides would split when we talked about it on the phone and I laughed so hard.
But I must say I wonder what the sign said, the note? LoL
I loved the fact their was a substitute bunny, the ostrich made a perfect twist. This was just absolutely hilarious. I loved it. Thank you for sharing when I was feeling so down.

    Cindy,

Such a endearing, sweet and silly poem! I did not know you had it in you to make a verse like this, it's a whole new side of you!
I think your grandchildren will love this tale.
Please hug them for me and here is one for you *gives you a super hug*

    Love Ingrid

Elmer sure did have a bad day ... lol ... but thank God Peg was there to save it ... lol

    If Elmer had slowed down
Took time his note to read
He'd still have his cotton tail
And would have seen the tree

Cindy ... you have woven a wonderfully penned tale and with a message within also.

Such a delightful refreshing piece to read ....

Poetry should be loved and appreciated by all. And this piece has no age limit requirements .... Wonderful

I think I best go by me some Easter eggs ... just in case .... lol ... Peg may not be here to save the day this weekend.

Happy Easter my friend ... you made my day a whole lot brighter ...
    ~Hugs~

A very nice piece. I liked the story a lot, but at point I felt the flow was broken. My favorite stanza was the fifth one, about the friendly nurse.
