My Christmas Present

by Cheri   Mar 22, 2008

Santa looks at me with a warm, loving, smile
after I tell him what I want for Christmas.

It can't be bought or found
in a department store.

My Christmas present is one of a kind
and no where in the world
could you find another.

It's my oldest daughter, Lisa Jo
who now is 5 years old, with Blonde hair
and big blue eyes and a smile that lights up the room.
A laugh that fills your heart with Joy,
Hugs that fill your heart with love.
Whoose Innocent chatter fills you with pride and faith.

Of all the choices of Christmas presents,
I'll always choose the same,
that's my precious darling daughter.

No amount of Gold or Fame,
could compare to her.

The sparkle in her eyes, her warm laughter,
dazzling smiles, caring hugs and kisses,
or the amazing way she looks at me and says,
" I love you Mommy" could be replaces.

As long as I have my wonderful daughter,
I'll always have the most wonderful Christmas present of all.
