I'm sorry no one else has taken the time to read/comment this. It's purely amazing. Usuually I frown upon the short rhyme scheme thing, but I wouldn't suggest you do anything other than you did. This poem is excellent, the story is touching sad, and filled with love, so it takes you through many of the basic emotions, and then pulls you further...and excellent peice of writing...!
