I have read a few of your poems now, and I think you have a lot of potential. I also think that you could write longer poems, which would express more, and include all of the things needed in poetry which makes it so amazing.
Now, in saying that, I don't mean that this, or any of your others aren't good, but I definately think you could write longer poems, that would work out excellently. And I did see that you don't like long poems; but they don't have to be books, just larger than something like this poem, as, although it is rather beautiful, it could be so much more.
Also, if you don't want to write more than say four or five lines, you should look into different styles of poetry. Like haiku's and tetractys and so on. They are fun and for such a writer like you, you would do so well in writing such short poems, and say a fair bit in the least amount of words.

In relation to this piece, I think it's quite beautiful. It creates imagery as well as evoking emotion. Well done.
