Ingrid your words have woven a piece that holds such a deep impacting message within it's lines.

    For men can kill
    each other,
    but will never
    wipe out
    hope

This ending is magnificent! No matter the magnitude of disaster created, the one thing that will out stand all .... is hope!

Your ink has inscribed a deep message within the mind & heart of this reader, well done Ingrid!

    Ingrid
This is a very deep thought provoking poem.

    Underneath the debris
    the soft grass perseveres,
    refusing to die and
    succumb to destruction.

I love this stanza. It shows life still goes on. Fighting to still stand.

    For men can kill
    each other,
    but will never
    wipe out
    hope.

I love the ending stanza Ingrid. Hope and faith are so strong inside our hearts. No one can take that away.
    Excellent!

The only word we could trust is 'Hope'

Your faith and optimism are uplifting. Nothing but nothing is permanent, war, famine, disease all pass. A beautiful poem of hope.
