    Sam
    Welcome back :)
What a sad piece. Very heartfelt.

Have you ever stared out into the rain,
    Hoping the clouds would disappear,
Did you ever cry out in vain,
In the darkness where you kept each tear,

I love the opening Stanza. The way you have started with questions. Ones that most people have felt.

Have you ever screamed out in a room,
But thought no one could hear you,
Have you wilted away with no chance to bloom,
Did you think life was more than through,

This stanza really reached out and touched me. The feelings of being alone are so strong in the questions you have asked. What a sad place to be.

    On this broken winding road,
You left me lying and bleeding,
    The love you once bestowed,
    Is more than quickly receding,

It is so hard when we feel love slipping away from us. It seems like there is nothing we can do to bring it back like when it was new.

Our lives have spun out of control,
But we cant keep looking back on the pain,
We must take it as a whole,
    We can believe again.

I love your ending Sam. The hint of hope that this love can be repaired.
    Excellent job!
    Love Cindy

I lost my faith in you,
    When you walked away,
    Just like a tattoo,
    You'll fade away one day,

This is my favorite stanza, very strong use of words!
The poem really draws you in and makes you think about the questions.
    Well done!

    Take care,

    Ingrid
