This was so simple...and yet it put into words what a lot of people aren't able to say for themselves. and by being able to say how you feel...you are on the road to getting better. believe me, been there.

I try to block out thoughts of you

^^ This made me think of a lot of things. I used to do some crappy stuff to myself and i tried to block out a lot of people and it doesn't help. even if the memories hurt, it's better to have them than nothing at all but a blank slate for a brain.

As I lay here on the floor

^^ Again, a simple line, and yet i loved it. it's just very very strong in those few words. <3

Oh how much I want to cry

^^ It's funny how we hate to cry when we have the ability to do so, and yet when we can't cry, it's all we want to be able to do.

To release these sorrows deep inside
But no matter how much I try
My eyes always seem to come up dry.

^^ I was angry for a long time..it felt like i wanted to cry, but i was too pissed off to do so. and so i know how that feels.
