This poem is extremely strong and powerful.. Words...chosen good. I feel this poem is somehow related to Christianity, also...someone might say in islam...since some terrorist explode bombs and claim themselves are martys...(?! what is that ?!) But why would we need such persons as martyrs? To show rest of the believers an example..?

Hmm last stanza...pretty interesting.. It is said...in holy books...that when time is near..all these non-believer will regret...but there is nothing to be done...

This is an interesting poem. Strong images. Wondeful job.

'this distant image of a God,
ring out in his foggy head,'

these lines really stuck out at me. It makes you think about faith itself, and it's role. It's nice.

'the timer is set now,
it goes off by the number seven,
maybe then they will realize,
there is a place called heaven.'

in the Bible, seven is the number of completion, so this is really deeper than it looks. It's got an almost dreamy look to it, it makes you think.

I like this poem very much, It's just all around pleasing. Great job!
