Kelly if you are writing from life, imagine the pain your parents are going through, they need you more than you realise and the end of your poem was very very selfish, be strong and share your pain. You pointed out to me your age now is the time to take that step from child to grown-up face life, be brave and you will see true joy again.
I loved your poem as it was so honest and sometimes that frightens me and I fear for the one who wrote it. You have many friends here talk to them if you can't reach out to those who love you. The end of your poem should not even be an option even though life can be a heart-breaking.

A very sad yet beautiful poem.
Things will get better in time and it was very brave of you to place your emotions into a poem like this. I do agree with Ray, the ending of your poem should not be given a second thought life can be difficult and sometimes feel as though it's not worth it but stay strong and things will get better.

I hope things get better for you. They sure as hell haven't gotten any better for me yet either.

Yes kelly life is worth living. It's hard to get over a relationship especially if it's a 4first love'. We all wish the our first love be our last but unfortunately rarely it works out to be. With time you'll get over it and fall in love again.
For your parents maybe the only options were a divorce. No one get divorce for the pleasure. Sometimes parents doesn't always showed their children that they're not that happy, so if your parents decides this it's because they also merits to be happy.
Keep on writing dear kelly because this is a way to let out things that are too much stores up inside. Kelleyana.
