I love your poem, it has a great story in it.
I know what you mean with these words and it is that way for me too...a never ending battle. But know this Bill..the biggest challenge of all is the war we wage against ourselves and our unfilfilled wants and needs.
You are a courageous man and what makes you strong is the fact that you acknowledge your weaknesses, that's the only way to defeat them:)
