I agree with you,but you need to be truthful with youself which is what is meant by the poem.Life can be super tough and sometimes we take each other for granted.Go read my twenty year wife /no artist am i/my senses of you.

Love is so much more then a word as some use so freely. It's work , a job, sometimes a challenge. You have penned this well and I have to agree with each word you have written. Most don't know what real love is, or they are unable to back up that word when it comes down to the wire. Through this poem it's easy to see that you do..Great piece Grant
