This poem is filled with emotions, and the flow is great. It's a fairly long poem and it took me a short time to read. It's very good.

Nice collaboration. This is just a personal thing with myself, but I tend to prefer poems that aren't just written in one long stanza. I prefer poetry to be written in separate stanzas. The form of this one, and the rhyme scheme, sort of reminded me a bit of a rap. Not that that's a bad thing, but yeah.

I really enjoyed the ending:

"When I see the light at the tunnels end
I will have found there an eternal friend."

^^ I like how the ending brought us back to the beginning with reminding us of the tunnel, yet it's spoken of in two totally different contexts. The beginning being very sombre and sad, and the ending being so full of hope. Nicely done, both of you.

This poem is very cute in a dark sort of way. it shows how much a firend/someone to understand you can mean to a person who is depressed.
