A Pain inside that can't grow out,
Do you feel like you just need to shout?
A tear falling from your cheek,
It wasn't worth to take that peek.
Now there's no time to look back,
It's more than time for your heart to fix that crack.
Taking a step after another down the street,
Ignoring how life could have been so sweat?
*such a powerful and emotional start to this wonderful poem. The only thing at the end you say 'sweat' and it should be sweet.*
Start dreaming about you two again,
But then it turns out your back to the paper and pen.
Maybe together you've could have touched the sky,
Please do your homework don't you know humans can't fly?
Hugging on to your doll,
C'mon stand up and go to the mall!
*Confusing stanza but I suppose this is what love is like.*
Take off that pale ugly face,
Ever heard of makeup for goodness grace?
No one is worth your tears,
Soon it will pass more than a few years.
You have to let go of your past,
Because the future is coming fast.
*Yes, no one is worth your tears and we have to let go of the past coz if we don't we won't let the beautiful future in.*
I know it's hard to get over a lost,
But you've got to live your mistakes and pay the cost.
Maybe you shouldn't have gone away,
Maybe that was the right place to stay,
Maybe you just had a bad day.
But what's done is done,
Now it doesn't matter how much you run,
You'll have that memory to ruin your fun.
