I have had a friend just like that so I can highly relate.She was one of my best friends for 4 years && it turns out all that time,she was stabbing me in the back.

"Now I know it's you who I can't get near
Or else more pain would be brought upon me"

^That was my favorite line in this poem.

I've been looking all over for a poem like this, the ryme is just flawless and amazingly well written. My favorite stanza:

Together, you and I, appear in my hazy dreams
No glimpse of deception appear to meet the eye
Only if the warm moments weren't turned to schemes
Only then it could last long, with no need for goodbye"

Wow this poem is so fantastic...I can relate to your words so well because I too had a friend just like this once. We often choose not to see people for who they really are until it's to late, and once there gone your just glad it's over with. Excellent poem 5/5

Countless people could relate to this poem. Life is full of deceptions, and certain types of people can cause them. We just have to be more aware in life and always be sure of our surroundings.

I really enjoyed reading the poem. I myself can relate to it, because of a certain incident with past people I met long ago. Compared to the present however that event means nothing. Overall I would say you did a very good job with this.
