Rainbow-Eyes

by Faton Ratkoceri   Aug 6, 2008

Your eyes remind me of the rainbow,
So divine,
so wonderful,
so colorful...

Wish I had met you long ago,
When the river of life had a different flow!

When I was young wild and free,
When the world was open to see!

Careless soul wanting fun,
Seeking new places to run!

To search for life's secrets,
To find my love's weakness!

Cherish your heart and soul,
Listen to your rhythm when in foul!

Greeting the halts of the life-train,
Being washed up by the love-rain!

Getting all up close and personal,
Having the time of our lives so natural!

But you came too late,
This heart of mine to grate,
Too late for me,
Too late for your rainbow-eyes to see,
The true crazy spirit inside of me.

But this life goes on so slow,
We get old before we know,
Before we realize what has gone amiss,
only memories remain a bliss!
