The rocks get hit by the waves.
Yet, they remain rocks.
It is hope that makes us stand on our feet.
Despite life's everlasting shocks.

I tell you, in the end, fortitude is what we gain.
Through life's endless pains.
Just like the grass always grows harder.
Under the brutal, heavy rains.
