Hi there i saw that you lived just up the road from me so i read your poem, it's well written but if i might point out two things"shall we ride in a lorry" was just filler words and should have been left out, it spoils what is a nice poem.
In your last line you repeat "if only we were in love" a second time spoiling the line.
Otherwise it was a nice poem
