Vengeance can be tormenting even if its a choice one makes......comes with a tag. While eye for an eye fits the bill to this poem, there are lines which you speak of making the darker side of the poem turn melancholic. Totally loved the line ‘spawn of nightmares escapes’ (please check this line. I think it needs spacing .idk cuz i don't know of such words as "nightmarescapes"?). …….I take these lines as the core of the poem nevertheless......
