This is beautiful

Sunsets sad reminders
Some things can never be
Dreams scattered on the wind
Slowly washing out to sea

It has such a sad but also a resigned feel to it. Sometimes there is nothing we can do but watch it all crumble and fall apart:(

What an lovely poem, read it over and over
you certainly have a talent lady.

Far reaching and touching write. It brings one to feel the pain.
Can footsteps be retraced? Dreams washed out to sea. Mirages to disappear.
Forgive me if I am wrong , but this seems to be the writing of a person with deep regrets of the choices made in their life, and the feeling that there is no way out of them. Sad indeed that one feels trapped in a life unwanted.

I really liked the last stanza. It ends so well. A very good write!
