Christmas

by Beautiful Chaos   Nov 14, 2008

Christmas comes but once a year
I often wonder why
Just one day to be at peace
To drink in loves reply

Everyday should hold the heart
That Christmas comes to bear
Selfish wants set aside
Compassion in the air

Family, friends and strangers too
Well wishing, you and yours
Presents made with loving hands
This holiday restores

Self-serving creatures of the world
Unite and set it free
The Christmas spirit lives year round
Though masked by all we see
