I loved this poem what else can be sad its a fantastic poem, its incredible sad but you can different meanings from that, the teddy bear can be a metaphor for falling out of love and wanting other things and thats what makes it so incredible emotional.

i know that you probally wrote the poem in this way to show that it is a thought a mind set for the teddy but forming it in a more structure basis may make it an easier read.

some of the lined the favoured the most where;
I didn't belong before I belonged to you
And I know my head's full of fluff, but I can tell

whoever not to be to critical about the poem the things in which i didn't like about apart from the structure where the dark basement its out of place i'd try teh closet under the stairs or something like that something which give sit a childhood theme and also i think it should be christmas years ago, so there would be more love and connection shown between the child and teddy.

however very good poem well done
