Promising that we always be true
To each other, yet I couldn't fulfill your promise
Though to the eye I was always honest
Yet from my heart I wasn't...."

Well this is a real problem because when there's no honesty trust can't be found.

"I love you" yet you could never know
Couldn't jeopardize our friendship over love
Though you didn't know about how I felt
A buddy of mines did who was also your friend."

This is always a problem in female/male friendship, especially when there is just one female. This is where some women plays with fire.

"My heart aching as each day passed
Yet I had to endure this for your sake
As I begin to see all the beauty within you
Cupid played an evil game of love."

I can tell you, i believe you'll get over this heart ache. When you love someone and the relationship comes to an end, your mind easily touches the heart and you think only about the qualities of this person.

"He shot an arrow at the one friend that
Knew of how I felt about you and
Made him fall for you also...
Conflict arose between the three of us...".

Some women love play this game, especially teenagers. From reading these words i can feel your love is still searching for what best suits her. Frankly when she gets enough of your friend, she'll again move on to someone else. lots girls doesn't play this game.

"You didn't want to pick between the two
So without hesitation I did what most
    Lovers wouldn't want to do...
I gave you up and suffered a great lost..."

I sincerely think you are strong enough to let go. Infact this person is just playing a game between you two. Some girl take it a great pleasure to see two guys in a fight for her. This girl is not sure of herself.

"I paid the ultimate price for
Letting you go without a fight...
    I suffered a heart break
Which even the lord couldn't replace..."

I think you'd made the right decision, let her go. Honestly if she could choose between twoo guys, she doesn't merit any. I think you'd made a wise decision.

    "As I walked away...whispering "I love you"
Though I knew you would never hear it
Yet at the same time you whispered
    "I love you too..."

Unfortunately, i doubt this person knows what is love. She's just playing a game but this game will not last forever, oneday she might be the one who are left with a broken heart.

It's the first time i made an indepth comment. I think this poem were written with words that comes from the heart. well done,5/5, kel.
