I read this as the rain, specifically the drops as the kisses of a new lover. These kisses breathing new life to a heart that has been without love for so long. A drought if you like?

..But, this is no ordinary rain because this is no ordinary love..no! This is the kind of rain of dreams, the rain that only falls once in a lifetime and only on the truly blessed. So in this rainfall we stand with hands aloft, and face greeting this rain that is so full of promise, so full of eternal love. Praise the heavens for this gift of blissful happiness...a smile that shines through this revitalizing rain.

Temps you have written in just two sentences so much and to read into these words has been my pleasure. Dis I read them right?

I actually liked this poem. I must say often i find myself not liking poems on here, but this one created a beautiful image and did not lose it amongst the jargon of poetic emotion. Upon the second reading I could almost smell the rain. Obviously i feel that you could take out a few words, and some other small edits to help the flow, but seriously nice job. I feel that you accomplished your goal "you made the reader revel in the taste/smell of the fresh rain, and you did it with a lively theme.
