"Scarred in time, healed by wisdom
    Freed from yesterday
Though I've walked the razor's edge
    I'm standing here today "

Awesomely written stanza..I so loved the last two lines..my fave thing ever "the ending lines of the poem"

Your fourth line was good as well.
Very well done..though this wasn't your best..and your title was a bit cliche.
    But still good !

I like the traces of pure positivity throughout the poem. This piece is certainly inspirational.
Every stanza holds true beauty, and I enjoyed deeply in your choice of words, superb descriptions and the whole atmosphere which is excellently created.

    - If all my hope were gone
My lungs would find no air
Death would take me in the night
    And cradle me with care-
    ^^^
Lovely opening, it caught my attention immediately and pulled me into the poem. It's powerful, penned with amazing vividness.

    - But every time I've called his name
    He's left me standing here
And suddenly the rains of hope
    Cleanse me of my fear-
    ^^^
I love those lines, they're great continuation of the first stanza. This one's truly effective, and it holds precious, heartfelt emotions. Seemingly simple, but so deep.

    - I continue on the winding road
    That somewhere holds my fate
Lost inside the ups and downs
    Of all that we create-
    ^^^
Profound in a way. I like the rhythm/rhyming here, it's calming and elegant. Another greatly written stanza, quite descriptive.

    - A lonely tear, a heartfelt smile
    Both have graced my face
Love and pain have found my heart
    My soul holds every trace-
    ^^^
This stanza is excellently connected with the previous one. They hold exact same message, described in different ways, which made the message stronger.

    - Scarred in time, healed by wisdom
    Freed from yesterday
Though I've walked the razor's edge
    I'm standing here today-
    ^^^
This is probably my favorite stanza. It's so powerful. I love the positivity that shines through the lines. Also, this is such a meaningful, superb ending for this poem.

    Overall, beautiful write, truly deep.
I think that everyone can relate to this in a way.
