A very nicely penned poem, I really enjoyed it.

Just mindless saints and sinners now are we
Who holds the candle tighter as true light begins to fade

I like the way these 2 lines go into one another. I think you really touched on the battle we fight within ourselves everyday.

Loved the theme of this poem and all the questions that were raised....it really makes every reader involve deeply in every word and question himself/herself

I think this is the first poem I read for you.
I loved the idea..so very true, inside of us lies demons and angels at the same time.
I liked the repetition of the last line in every stanza, each time in a different way.

And humble comes upon us as we try to gain our strength
Inside us are both saints and sinners fighting for release

Who are we but mere vessels now to hold both good and bad
The struggle is upon us as we face the lives we have
Each gaining points in madness for the war on sanity
Just simple saints and sinners...

are we.
