Jean's Day

by Richard S   Feb 23, 2009

I hope you celebrated long and hard,
As you deserve to do.
I hope the day went very well,
With many presents too.

On the day that you were born,
Trumpets must have sounded.
On each year that day should be,
Noted and resounded.

All should thank the gods on high,
That you were born that day.
You keep us all in better moods.
You teach us how to play.

And though the years may seem to climb,
You keep your spirits high.
And we all thank our lucky stars,
You're here to ease our sighs.

So do not think another year,
Has come and gone unseeing.
For those who love you very much,
Appreciate you being.
