It just flowed so smoothly ... and touches so deeply.

Loved the rhythmn of this write. I hope I understand it right. The soul was taken and the mind was left to question why.

I think the flow would be a bit better if the last line of this stanza read: Some day I will return.

Such a deep read. Wonderfully executed. Lovely and sad.
