I must say you got me re-reading many times, and still be amazed by each and every line, every single time I read them. This is an extraordinary piece, you are very talented, I admire you a lot.
Evem though the poem doesn't have good rhyming, but that's not always the point. A poem has to touch my heart, and make me feel what the writer's feeling, and I think I can understand the confusion you're feelin, it's like you say throughout the poem something like "I might remember the screaming voice, but not the shouted words".
