Kay this is so beautiful and sad...it reminded me of some graves that I once saw in Virginia , very old and forgotten, it made you wonder what that persons life had been like...very thought provoking, excellent! |

I often wonder what the stories are when visiting a cemetary. Men, women, children, who were they in life. Well done. |

Poignant but resisting the temptation to fall into sentimentality. Rich in imagery but thought provoking, well done. |

Wonderful write; the apparent lonliness is so evident and the tree as a silent backdrop adds to the melancholy. |

Every word here was has intense has the first. This poem was very picky and without waste, the words painting a brillant picture for all to see. It is flawless in my opinion. The thoughts or lost loved one hold fast to my mind, and i kept thinking, is this his future? to be a lonly grave standing next to an acient tree? |
