This poem isnt the best, and im not the best, but comments would be appreciated. Thanks

I want to say that this poem is really heartfelt. Each stanza flowed well and was still packed full of meaning.

"Or did you think me foolish
To have one last affair
Just one night of shameful sex
For an eternity of despair"

^^ That stanza reached out and touched me. So many times people think of only themselves and don't realize what situation they'd be putting you in.

"So old love, and my old friend
I'm putting you away
In a box somewhere inside my mind
And that's where you'll have to stay"

^^ Just wanted to point out this stanza because of the beautiful imagery. The reference to putting "you away" like you'd put away old photographs from the past is a brilliant tactic to enhance the poem's meaning.

Anyway, I think this was beautifully written and really holds command over the reader's attention throughout the whole poem. Wonderful job.
