Aw! This was so cute in the beginning, then became terribly sad at the end. :( I feel like crying now I wouldn't know what I'd do if I lost something so close to me. nice job once again

I found that it was very cheesy in certain places, and at times you were just searching for things to write about. Also, you change of the rhyme scheme halfway through, thowing off the reader, only to change it back. Overall, I did not enjoy it.

    Peace and prosperity,

It was a powerful piece and touching. Nice!
I agree with Lucas, it had a sentimental value.

It just,, I felt there's too much pronouns in the poem. But it's just me though... =]

    Hey,
    i really felt it.
    I am
    so attached to my dog,
if she was to be hurt in
any way, i would feel like a piece of me was
    ripped out of my chest.
and getting down to the end, i knew just where you
    wanted to go,
    it was lovely. (sad, but)
    really, lovely

'little big man' that is a contradiction and a syntax error all in the same, perhaps try re-wording it.

Other than that small minor error, I thought this a was a heartfelt write that came straight from your heart. Nice write, Keep up the good work.

This was quite an inspiring poem, despite its sad nature. For some reason I smiled at the mention of Toto and Rin-Tin-Tin - I think sometimes when characters who we are familiar with are mentioned, it helps to relate to the poem in a greater way?

"Lord, it hurts to see innocence suffer more than it should
This has always been something I never understood
Is not pain only for the wicked and not the good
I thought every debt was paid for on a cross of wood."

^^ This was my favourite stanza, particularly the first line. I think because it's such a strong message and something that I and I'm sure millions around the world have strong feelings about. The innocents around us are affected by tragedy and evil every day; sometimes we question why the good side seems to be punished more than the bad, y'know?

Overall I really enjoyed the poem; it made me think and it made me smile. It also made me cry.

    Nicely done. :)

Michael this is a wonderful poem, cleverly contracted, strong and flows so well. A great read.
