Poetically I found the flow off a bit, but as I got into it I realized it kind of has a musical feel to it and if I sang it, that problem actually went away lol I thought it was a great dark subject that really makes you stop and think about life and what we really have, it also hopefully makes you want to put yourself out there and help someone who doesn't have that. Great write Chelsey, I really enjoyed it.

Why do people do these things indeed..a very good question..

My feeling on this, is that there are many people in this world who have emotional problems, created during their own childhood, or inherited..and when they do not get the right treatment, they go around killing/ abusing innocent people.
There should be more awareness and people should not be so afraid to report strange behaviour, even when it involves a child...when it is detected in time, some mental deseases may be cured or kept under control with medicines.

You wrote this really well, it was worth my time, very much so.
