I still rem the first time i read it and it was so hard to control tears. Just like in all of your poems, everything comes crystal clear in front of eyes and i could feel all the pain, just like watching a movie.
I am glad that you released all feelings that came in your mind through this poem, i am glad you shared.

all the best and take care

The poem flowed... I am not sure about meter...I am careful some of the time...others I just write as I please. But when I am being careful...I count all the syllables...to make the same for each line. Then I try to make the lines feel alike...i am not sure if that is meter...anyways...

    Loved it! smiles...Mari

Good job with the title you selected. It is sad and something we may all wish for to be with the true love of our lives. Well done.

Oh dear lady, we have to hold on to life just a minute longer. Our mission on earth has not yet finished so long as we can breathe.

Well done on this one. i'm voting 5.

    Getting very tired now
    Been holding on so long
    Please come and rescue me
It's with you where I belong

This stanza says so much of the depth of love felt by one for his/her lover.
There is no other feeling on earth quite like it when being held in your lover's arms.
You've done a wonderful job with this pice Cindy.
    Keep up the great work.
    An enjoyable read.

There is so much sadness in your words but also something else, longing I think. That's the feeling I got when I read this, a sense of longing.
