Good job with the challenge Cindy. The flow is excellent, and I could feel the wind blowing and see the visions your words brought forth.

This one really took me by surprise. Its chilly, coz of snow or maybe coz of the darkness it holds.
    I really loved these lines

    Relentless north winds blow
Like dark laughter in your ears

    great write once again dear.

all the best and take care

What a sad write Cindy. You are so creative and never afraid to take on any poetry challenge. Ilike how every line of this poem is placed. This line left me thinking...

"Pleasure is just an illusion". Maybe for certain persons. I believe that pleasure is like love, it cannot be found where it does not exist, but sometimes without we had to search for it, it visits up unexpectedly and when it's here, all we can do is close our eyes and let our hearts takes over. Very well done Cindy, 5/5, kel.

Cindy, I like this style of writing very much. There's an element of goth in it, and it is so vivid. The metaphors you use are also creative. A 5 for me, Cindy.

Cindy - this moved me - genuinely. It really is an accomplished little piece that takes the reader to a very dark and lonely place - not to mention a cold one!
All the best and I do hope you are well,

What a beautiful but sad poem Cindy, with its great imagery.
So loved the last verse :

    'Icy cold pierces beating hearts
    Painful destiny now arrives
    Forgotten, entombed, frozen grave
No one hears loves final cries.'

A tragic end to a once great Love..

This a good piece of work and I'm so glad I saw Bens comments on this, and then, had to take a peek myself!
    Nicely penned.
