I totally adore how you craft this poem. I love how you use the spiderweb as a metaphor for a trap. I feel so tangled up when i read this. No doubt , there are lots of preys our there preying on those people who are gullible especially young girls. I love how you twist this fairytale. Indeed you've proven that not every fairytales has a happy ending.

    Excellent work;)

How many times do we get trapped. Especially when we are so gullible. My sister tells me I'm gullible all the time. I tend to believe there is good in most people. I have got myself caught in many a web in the past. Great poem with a wonderful warning.
    Excellent job!

This was very well written & brought forth a message that is important. Sometimes we get to tangled into someone's web whether it be of lies or anything else.. that things turn into something we never expected coming. I really loved the layout of this & how it was almost told as a story. Awesome job..!

So often the gullible ones are mistaken for a fool by those who spin their web to entrap another.
I find that this piece is uniquely penned for the warning signs it portrays are cleverly entertwined from one stanza to the next.
    A beautiful piece.

    A lesson learned too late,
things are not always what they seem,

*I think we've all made the mistake for taking things in the wrong context or seeing something as what it's not. Very true message. Nice wrok hun :) I enjoyed this. Nik*

Very true ... we do have to take care when making choices ... not just go, with only our feelings
