Where I live I'm surrounded by mountains and cannot imagine life without them. Your poem is a wonderful hymn to their majesty. I particularly liked the lines "Adorned with fire,
Lit by the Gods". So very true! Smiles.

Wonderful poetry, most of your work reeks of awesomeness to put it bluntly.

"Her majesty beckons
Fog lingers and softens her brilliance,
for just a moment...
Then she stands stately, like a queen
Adorned with fire,
Lit by the Gods"
