Very well written, this actually brought tears to my eyes. I lost my mom to alcohol years ago... 10 years a month ago. And I live away from home now and my dad means more then the world to me. This had phenomenal flow and was very powerful.

An absolutely heart breaking piece, really brought a tear to my eye just thinking of being in those shoes for a second, though we all know we will be in the end. You could clean up the flow of your lines a bit, but you nailed it on emotion. Great work and thank for sharing it with us.
