Birthday Wishes

by John   Jun 18, 2004

Your smile ignites my heart like the candles on a cake.
Casting light on so many hopes and wishes.
Like the paper around your presents, I'll wrap you in my arms.
Offering my gift of love that's all yours.
You lift my spirits like a balloon, and I am guided by the winds of your love.
There's no needle sharp enough to deflate this feeling.

On your birthday, know that you mean the world to me.
And if I may make your wish for you,
May happiness always find us
Let a smile never leave your lips
And may our love always keep us together.
