Happy Birthday Dad

by JessieGilroy   Sep 13, 2010

I was going to buy you a card,
but not one was good for you.
because a card wasn't there,
to see my father hold me at two.

a card wasn't there,
when we got in that accident.
a card wasn't there,
to hear all your funny accents.

but i was there,
when the pickle dance came to be.
and i was there,
to see you flip ass up in the sea.

so i made you a card instead,
something no other dad can own.
something you can look back at,
fifteen years down the road

Peter Pablo is my everything,
no matter who says what.
Love you always and forever
from your one and only, Peanut.
