    Placid colors mingle and twist,
    Each stroke carries magnificent risk.
Set aside each fear and worry,
Let the brush tell a story.

    ^^
    My favorite stanza:)

One does get lost in a painting somtimes..and in painting it too, I guess, lol.

I smiled about the risk of addding a new color, because it is indeed risky, but maybe that is also the charm of doing it, I feel.

Although this was a rhyming poem, it was not boring in the least, I loved the melodious feel of it.

    Nice work, Amanda!

This is remarkable! I love the imagery and the way you portrayed them.

    "Placid colors mingle and twist,
    Each stroke carries magnificent risk."

I really liked this line. A lot. :-)

Also, I didn't know the word oleaginous before I read this. ^.^ So, thanks for using it correctly so I can too haha. =p 5/5

Whoa, I've never read a piece such as this one. Your words flow so cleverly and captivatingly.
'Let the brush tell the story.'
So many good stanzas, that's my favorite line though.
