This is a really nice poem in my opinion. The way you've started gives the reader the possibility to get into the story since you tell how everything used to be. I enjoyed how you continued. I'm sure quite a few have experienced this xactly the way you've described before. The rhyme wasn't always clear to me but that's allright. Emotions have been expressed well and i'm convinced this is a really heartfelt write. Thanks for sharing and keep up writing!
