I can relate to this.
The one thing i would change is this

I tried to deny this fact,
I kept closed up and cold,
The only things I said to you,
Were harsh and sharp and bold.

The poem flowed perfectly. It kept drawing you in reading more. How scared you were & how much you tried to fight it off poured out. When in the end you couldn't resist.
