This is just what I needed to read right now. The emotions...wow...I could truly relate.

I loved the ending. I liked how the lines got shorter and shorter. Really added a nice pace to the end and left me wanting more. Leaving the reader with a question is an excellent way to leave your poem lingering in their mind. You did that flawlessly here. It made me want to read the poem again in case I could find the answer to your question embedded in your words.

Sometimes we feel we need people that we truly don't need. We fool our minds into believing that we cannot live without them even if they aren't as strong in the passion as we are.
