we all build shield around us. But sometimes those shields aren't strong enough, coz the real enemies are inside us... :(

Being vulnerable is not a good thing to be. .. especially around people who hurt you the most.... sorry about your fading shield though, , sometimes they need to come down for something good to get in, but I understand being afraid.
