So holly, I don't usually read dark poetry, but I love ur work ! So I read this and found myself quit enjoying it :) I was really captivated by the tone and the words..I loved the part about the fangs hovering...super intriguing and kinda creepy!

Quivering lips <-- favorite two words put together :)

This is such an eerie, creepy poem! I really like how you wrote of vampires in their dark and creepy way that they really should be. While I really like the Twilight books/movies, I can't help but feel they've been ... girlied up a little? Vampires have always been dark, mysteriously looming in the shadows and seductive to beautiful women, but they also generally kill these women, not marry them and turn them into vampires and have babies. lol.

I think the use of crimson in the title is a little cliche, and to be honest I thought this was going to be a self harm poem by the title, so it was a lot deceiving. I eye-roll at self harm poems so I was wondering what you were doing, haha! But you crafted this dark poem in a scary but beautifully poetic way - I really enjoyed this read!
