    That one last question

But what's paradise when hell is all
    you have ever known?

    --- thought provoking.
I could think that paradise would be a dream or something unreachable or something like a treasure waiting to be unburied. So it's much more precious.

I love this piece, I like the use of the coffee and nature and also everything.

Karla this poem was so awesome. I loved the images here and the feeling I got when reading it, especially the part about waking up to go to work and the feeling you get doing it.

I am wondering about something I noticed and I feel as though you did this on purpose as to emphasise a point. Every time you wrote the word "I" you used it as not being a capital like "I"
This got my attention and I started to think what could it mean. I don't know if I am over reading things but maybe the not capital part of that was to say that you didn't feel as important to have it the other way? Like you didn't see yourself the way others see you.

Just my thoughts but this poem was awesome Karla. Brilliant work.

    A profound piece... truly.

Your hemispheres are farther from my sun
and the latest equinox was shy.

With lines like that ... I can't wait to read more your poetry. Glad to be a member of your club.
