    Tammi such a sad poem:/

its not your fault your going through so much pain.
Your dad chose his addiction to pain pills,
over being a dad, he makes you feel so unloved.
What hurts the most is seeing other kids playing with their dads at the parks, cheering them on at games, but you look at yours and he's nowhere to be found.
Someday he'll see the truth and all the years waisted, until then cry no more, it wont bring him home.

    ^
It's hard to have a dad not there when you need him, looking at other fathers, pains you too see that your dad isn't like them and you wishing he was. I loved how you expressed this, sad emotions

Dont cry no more little girl,
its not your fault the guy of your dreams broke your precious heart. He's the one who told you lies from the start, but you didnt know they were lies because they sounded so good and true. What hurts the most is waiting for your heart to heal and wondering if the next guy will be and do the exact same.. One day he'll realize what he lost, until then cry no more, it wont bring him back.

Aww I love this stanza of the poem.
It's not your fault he lied and broke your heart and the fact you believed every lie cos they sounded so true. And it hurts to sit back and wonder if your heart will be healed by the next guy . And the truth is guys never realize what they had until it's all gone. Loved the way you put it together giving that message to the readers that you shouldn't cry because he was the one that broke your heart and made you fall for the lies great stanza really powerful

Don't cry no more little girl,
it's not your fault we live in a messed up world, with hurtful people. Who tell you your not good enough, your ugly, your fat, and all they do is laugh and laugh while you cry yourself to sleep at night. Wondering what you did to deserve such a life. The sad part is you start to believe all the lies, because for years thats all you ever heard, thats all you ever knew. Dont worry one day those people will pay, for all they had to say, until then cry no more, it wont stop the hurtful words from being said.

So many girls can relate to this.
Being called fat and ugly being told your no good enough and point as you cry. Thinking about why you deserve so much pain why does this world have so many people that say such horrible things.

I felt this poem was strong and had a good meaning to it

I love each stanza because it gives a message about girls who cry and at the end of the day its worth nothing because crying it doesn't fix anything

    Such an emotional poem
With true feelings being let out
    I loved it

    It flowed beautifully

'Someday he'll see the truth and all the years
waisted, until then cry no more, it wont
    bring him home.'
I love this part. I know crying can't do anything. This reminded me of my friend. She told me crying is useless, even if you cry tears of blood it won't do you any good (She's the most practical, yet caring person I know lol)
    But change waisted to wasted.

    'but you didnt
know they were lies because they sounded
    so good and true.'
I agree.. And sometimes we ourselves lie without knowing we're lying.. So sad.

    'The sad
part is you start to believe all the lies,
because for years thats all you ever heard,
    thats all you ever knew.'
These lines stood out for me. Really well-written.

I love the ending the most. You reveal that this girl is you. I honestly thought it was gonna end sad. But it was very hopeful. And yes, God is always with us we just have to hang on..

    Great job 5/5 :)

I can relate to your poem. Had a bd childhood, very abusive. It's nothing we did, we were children. I am all grown now, still dealing with the pain, asking myself why?

This was really heartfelt...and it is good to tell other people your story because alot of poeple go through similar things and they need to know they are not alone...good job :)

Emotionally you were done. Mentally you were drained. Spiritually you were dead. Yet physically you smiled and stayed strong.
