Love the ending here, i know what its like to lose a friend well thats what i interpret of this hope im not wrong lol but I get it, wishing you woulda done something different, i like this poem keep it up!

Love the addiction line. so many people are controlled by addictions that tears their live into shreds and make them into people they would have never thought they'd be. so sorry you have to feel this way, though. hopefully you will rekindle your friendship soon and overcome your addiction! :) great writing full of so much emotion.

I know from experience that it does not do one well to hover on the past. Thinking of the things you should have said, should have done. Better to move forward and break out of this controller's grip!
