I love the assonance in the beginning, I just wish you've kept that til the end, but the subtle rhymes also worked.
memory's and tree's are possessive nouns or short for memory is.. and tree is..
so: memories and trees :)
Other than that, this is a great read.
The imagery is just raw and sad and vivid. Again, I love your use of punctuation.
"Ensnared, jagged branches cutting every
inch they find."---i love the use of 'ensnared' here. It gave this piece a haunting atmosphere.
